Community Service:

In an effort to serve our community, the North Evans Volunteer Fire Company donates their time to help out in the community. Some of these efforts include delivering cookies at Christmas time, conducting fire prevention at local schools and daycare centers as well as participating in parades and other local events.

Here some children get to experience what it is like to sit in the cab of a real fire truck. The features and uses of the apparatus was explained to the children.	Jim Hoff, Sr. passes out fire prevention stickers and badges to the children.	Captain Ed Jackson from Highland Hose, North Evans' sister company, talks to the children from the class. He explains fire prevention and safety measures to the children. He was joined by other firefighters.
